Every year, the Devonshire Road Street Party raises money for charity. This year, we're supporting W4 Youth.

After the success of last years stall, Chiswick Pets will be having another tombola- with prizes for humans and their pets! Many of the independent shops on Devonshire Road have donated vouchers and prizes to be won so come and try your luck- all proceeds to the street party's nominated charities.

You're invited to a Murder.... with Chiswick Pets

'You Are Invited To A Murder' is a competition running on Devonshire Road from the day of the street party, Sept 9th, until the 30th September. Can you solve the 'whodunnit'? The crime scene and the Police incident room are both on view in Chiswick Pets' window, plus all information on how to win a fabulous prize package including a 3 course meal for 2 at La Trompette, vouchers to spend at several shops on Devonshire Road and a special edition set of 'Midsomer Murders Cluedo' signed by actor Neil Dudgeon who plays Chief Inspector Barnaby.

If you'd like to have a go you can either pick up a free entry coupon from the shop and hunt down the clues hidden on the street, or, for a £1 charity donation you can pick up a 'cheat pack' from the shop which gives all the clues needed to solve the crime, without all the 'leg work'!

Tom Lukas is an emerging singer/song writer and producer, originally from Cardiff and now living in London. He is an acoustic performer who regularly plays live original and cover gigs and also runs a business providing professional open mic nights, London Unplugged. Tom is a self taught multi-instrumentalist playing the guitar, bass, piano and drums and commonly referred to as a "one man band".

Ray Lowe Swings is a personal tribute to the magical 'Swing Era' inspired by the legendary voices of Bobby Darin, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis Jnr, Matt Monro and of course..... 'The Chairman of the Board' Mr Frank Sinatra. Performing two one-hour sets during the day.

The continual favourite, our delicious Hog Roast by Cape Cuisine never fails to draw a crowd as its enticing aroma drifts down Devonshire Road... just £3 for a generous helping in a soft bap, complete with apple sauce - with all proceeds going directly to W4 Youth.

 

Getting There:

Located just off Chiswick High Road and very near Turnham Green Tube Station, Devonshire Road is very easy to find.

By Train: Our nearest station is Turham Green on the District Line - turn left out of the station and walk along Turnham Green Terrace to the High Road. Cross the High Road and turn right - Devonshire Road is just a couple of streets up on your left. Gunnersbury (for District Line and London Overground) and Chiswick (for National Rail) stations are also within walking distance.

By Bus: Buses 237, 267, 27, 391 and H91 all stop on Chiswick High Road, a very short walk away

By Car: Use postcode W4 2HD for your satnav - Pay and Display Parking is available on Chiswick High Road, but space is limited.
